Marilyn Molina, MS, CO-OP

Marilyn joined the Ombuds Office in July 2015 as the Administrative Manager.  Previously, she had served the University for eight years as a member of the Events Administration unit of the Facilities Department.

In April 2017, Marilyn was promoted to the position of Assistant Ombuds Officer after an immersive six month training period.  A Nuyorican, raised in Brooklyn, she earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management and Economics from SUNY Empire State College and in 2010, earned her Master of Science degree in Negotiation and Conflict Resolution from Columbia University.  Marilyn is trained in mediation and negotiation, an active member of the International Ombuds Association (IOA), has obtained Certified Organizational Ombuds Practitioner (CO-OP) status from the IOA, has become a Certified Trainer in Workplace Conflict Resolution from the Mediation Training Institute at Eckerd College, and has earned a Diversity and Inclusion Certificate from Cornell University.
